When you book your journey the coordinator will give you a guide value for your donation. THIS IS JUST A GUIDE. It represents what it costs Car Link to take you on your journey.
What you give is entirely up to you, just seal your donation in the envelope and hand it to your driver.
We work on the basis of Forty Nine Pence per mile which helps to cover the mileage rate we pay to the drivers and the cost of our full-time coordinator.
Clients on incapacity or other means tested benefits can recover the cost of travel to hospital appointments from the NHS.
All Journeys are return – A one way journey costs us just as much as a return journey.
The driver expects to wait for up to two hours. If you know that you need more than that you should book two trips.
